Effective November 1, 2021 the Fall LIHEAP Subsidy Program will begin. This is a subsidy program so you DO NOT need a late or disconnect notice to apply. We can provide service for electric, natural gas, kerosene, wood, coal and propane. All of our Family Service Centers are now providing in person services, however it is required that you make an appointment. We do not want to overcrowd our lobbies. At the date and time of your appointment, please knock on the door and someone will come out and make all your copies.
Currently all LIHEAP offices will accept walk-in clients in accordance with CDC guidelines. Appointments can also be made via phone. Applicants will be required to either upload the documents using this website OR drop off all required documents in a secure drop box at the LIHEAP office selected using the phone appointments. If you are unable to make copies of your documentation, please contact our office in advance of your appointment time.
We will need a signed application and all required documents to complete your application. Please make sure that you upload your documents using this website or drop off in a secure drop box at the location you selected for the appointment at least 24 hours prior to your appointment date and time. On the date & time of your appointment, either arrive at your selected office or if using telephone appointment, a LIHEAP staff member will contact you to let you know the status of your application.
